The Leader, it appears, will be forever tainted. I'm glad his friend and songwriting partner, Mike Leander, wasn't around to witness same. However, maybe, one day, some newby on Radio 1 (or 6 Music/2 Extra) will 'rediscover' Rock and Roll Pts 1 & 2 and, at the same time, remind everybody that perfect music isn't always made by perfect people.
